Two generations of pop-punk history collide this summer as Teenage Bottlerocket and The Queers join forces for a long-awaited split 7” arriving July 30, 2026 through Pirates Press Records and Rad Girlfriend Records.
The collaboration brings together two bands whose influence on melodic punk has stretched across decades. From Laramie, Wyoming, Teenage Bottlerocket and from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, The Queers have each built devoted worldwide followings through fast tempos, unforgettable hooks, and a shared appreciation for classic punk rock songwriting.
Despite years of touring together, mutual admiration, and a common musical lineage, the two bands had never released a split record—until now. For the new release, both groups decided to celebrate each other’s catalogs by taking on signature songs from the other band’s history. Known throughout their careers for their love of cover songs, each band brings its own personality to a familiar favorite.
The result is a two-song exchange between two influential pop-punk acts, highlighting the connection between their sounds and the generations of fans who have carried their music forward. Teenage Bottlerocket delivers a new version of The Queers’ “Teenage Bonehead,” while The Queers return the favor with their own interpretation of Teenage Bottlerocket’s “Blood Bath At Burger King,” renamed “Hog Log At Burger King.”

For their side of the split, the band takes on Teenage Bottlerocket’s “Blood Bath At Burger King,” transforming the track into “Hog Log At Burger King” while adding their own signature approach to the song.
