Jesse Ahern is taking an independent route into the next chapter of his career, standing by his words and taking action with ‘Peace Love & Revolution’. The new album is produced by Elio DeLuca and set for release on November 6, 2026. Peace Love & Revolution is built around working-class themes, personal accountability, and a response to the world around him, the record finds Ahern using music as both a creative outlet and a way to engage with current events.
Ahern’s path through the music business began with a quick burst of momentum, aided by his friendship with Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys. In early 2024, Ahern parted ways with his management and booking agent at Wasserman Music and began operating independently. That decision has extended into the way he distributes his music. Ahern has removed his catalog from major streaming platforms, with the exception of “Roots Rock Rebel,” which remains under contract and is also expected to be removed.
Ahern has been exploring alternative platforms and has chosen Qobuz and Subvert as the homes for his music moving forward. His existing catalog and new album are planned to become available through those platforms and on his website, JesseAhern.com, coinciding with a tour supporting Peace Love & Revolution. As one who has experienced Jesse Ahern live at the Moore Theater, if he is near your city, make plans.
Peace Love & Revolution is described as an airing out of grievances and a call to hold others accountable. Written with workers in mind, the album confronts issues Ahern sees around him while also asking listeners to find common ground and unite. At the center of the project is the hope that the music can spark something in someone who has given up or doesn’t know where to begin.
That approach continues through the album’s title track and songs including “Class Traitor,” “Money Where Your Mic Is,” “Algorithm,” and “We’re Still Here.” Across ten tracks, Ahern turns his attention toward the systems, conflicts, and personal experiences shaping his perspective.
The decision to release Peace Love & Revolution outside the dominant streaming ecosystem is an extension of those same ideas. Ahern is pursuing a grassroots album cycle built around direct connection with listeners, alternative music platforms, and touring rather than relying exclusively on the industry infrastructure.
With Peace Love & Revolution, Jesse Ahern is putting the philosophy behind his music directly into the way the record reaches its audience — independently, deliberately, and on his own terms.
“PEACE LOVE & REVOLUTION” BY JESSE AHERN ARRIVES NOVEMBER 6, 2026.
