RADIO WEEKEND RELEASES DEBUT EP ‘CIRLCES’

From the rain-soaked streets of Seattle pours the sound of Radio Weekend, a power-pop quartet whose music bridges the raw urgency of punk with the melodic charm of radio’s golden age. Radio Weekend steps forward with the relase of their debut extended play, Circles, a six-song collection released on April 24th. It is a record that wears its influences proudly—drawing from the punch of The Clash, the polish of Cheap Trick, and the boppin’ spirit of The Ramones—yet delivers it all with a distinctly modern edge.

Fronted by Joe Dickerson alongside guitarist Josh Boelter, bassist Ibrahim Muter and drummer Brandon Jacobs, Radio Weekend crafts songs that are as immediate as they are enduring. Tracks like “Back To Yesterday” and the title cut “Circles” move with a sense of the band’s high-energy.

Recorded and mixed by Michael Springer at Peel Studios and mastered by Scott Von Rocket, Circles captures a band finding its footing with confidence. The production retains a raw, live-wire energy—each note ringing with clarity while never losing the grit that defines their sound.

In an age where polish often overshadows personality, Radio Weekend offers something refreshingly direct. With Circles, they announce themselves not merely as students of the past, but as torchbearers for a sound that continues to evolve—one hook, one chorus, one song at a time.
