NASCAR ALOE RELEASEs NEW ALBUM ‘AUDIO SHRAPNEL’ ahead of the Capital Punishment Tour

Nascar Aloe has officially released his latest full-length album, AUDIO SHRAPNEL, this week via Epitaph Records. The record follows 2024’s SPEED and continues the artist’s ongoing fusion of punk, underground rap, speedcore, and experimental electronic music.

Ahead of the album’s release, nascar aloe has shared the title track, “AUDIO SHRAPNEL,” alongside the music video. The song serves as an introduction to the album’s broader themes, addressing political polarization, violence, and social instability through the artist’s characteristic blend of abrasive vocals and confrontational songwriting.

Born from a period of personal upheaval, grief, and societal observation, AUDIO SHRAPNEL expands upon the stylistic approach that has defined nascar aloe’s work since emerging from the underground music scene in 2018. Throughout the record, he combines elements of punk rock, industrial music, trap production, and speedcore into a sound that resists traditional genre classification.

The album’s lyrical themes focus heavily on contemporary political and social conditions, including criticism of militarism, political extremism, and institutional violence. Tracks such as “MAGA (MORE AMERICAN GRAVES AMMEDIATELY)” and the album’s title track reflect the artist’s perspective on the current political climate in the United States, while songs including “BABY” and “1091-D” reveal moments of personal reflection amid the record’s broader social commentary.

As a Cambodian American artist based in Los Angeles, nascar aloe has developed a devoted following through a series of EPs, full-length releases, and extensive touring, accumulating more than 250 million streams across digital platforms. His work has positioned him as a prominent figure within a generation of artists operating at the intersection of punk and hip-hop.

In support of AUDIO SHRAPNEL, Nascar Aloe will embark on the Capital Punishment Tour this summer alongside Jasiah. The co-headlining run begins July 7 at Seattle’s Showbox and will travel throughout North America before concluding in Miami on August 22. Get more details and tickets here
