Seattle skate punk outfit Me, Grimlock! has just released their debut EP, Bullfights in Tijuana, on August 15, 2026. Delivering a fast, energetic collection that blends skate punk urgency with melodic hardcore intensity. The self-released record marks an important milestone for the band as its first fully self-produced studio release.
Fronted by a DIY spirit, Bullfights in Tijuana showcases the band’s commitment to creating music entirely on its own terms. Guitarist Endo Cleofe handled production, mixing, and mastering in-house, giving the EP a sound that reflects the band’s raw energy while maintaining a polished edge. The result is a release that captures both the aggression and melody at the heart of modern skate punk.
‘Bored With Life’ serves as the EP’s lead track from “Bullfights in Tijuana,” and introduces listeners to Me, Grimlock!’s dynamic songwriting, driving rhythms, and high-energy musicianship. The band describes the record as spanning a wide spectrum of punk rock and melodic hardcore, highlighting the influences that have shaped its sound while establishing an identity all its own. You hear that as soon as you lay the needle down.
To celebrate the release, Me, Grimlock! will host an EP release show at The Charleston in Bremerton, Washington, before hitting the road for a two-week tour across the American West Coast, the Southwest, and Western Canada throughout September. The run will give audiences an opportunity to experience the band’s energetic live performance as it continues building momentum beyond its hometown of Seattle.
With Bullfights in Tijuana, Me, Grimlock! delivers an impressive introduction built on speed, melody, and independent determination. The debut EP not only showcases the band’s musicianship but also reflects the DIY ethic that has long defined punk rock—creating, recording, and releasing music on their own terms while taking it directly to audiences on the road.
